Here are a few words of caution regarding security and Autopilot. If your computer requires a password after it has been inactive in the standby mode, and an Autopilot simulation was in progress, you may not be able to continue the series under consideration. This would happen because Autopilot screen activation from another location within the game intentionally turned off the button you now need to use to update your performance results. It did so then because you were supposed to do something else, such as changing your portfolio attributes and repeating the series of game simulations, before updating results. We have tested the password re-entry feature on Dan Hamblin's office desktop and laptop computers, and verified that it works properly for lapses into standby while at the Profit Optimizer and Autopilot Repetition screens. However, if security is not a problem at your installation, you may want to turn off the password protection. To do so, right click on your desktop, click on Properties/Screen Saver/Power.../Advanced. Under options, turn off "Prompt for password when computer goes off standby."
